This policy explains what information tucsonirish.org collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. We keep this simple: we're a small volunteer-run nonprofit, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Information we don't collect directly
This site doesn't have user accounts, logins, or forms that submit data to us directly. If you email us (including through a "mailto" link on this site), your message and email address go straight to your own email provider and ours — we don't store it anywhere beyond our normal inbox.
Donations and membership
Donations and membership payments are processed through Zeffy, a third-party payment platform, via an embedded form or a link to Zeffy's own site. When you make a donation or join as a member, the payment and donor information you provide (such as your name, email, and payment details) is collected and processed directly by Zeffy under Zeffy's own privacy policy, not by us. We receive donor and membership records from Zeffy so we can acknowledge gifts, issue tax receipts, and maintain membership rolls.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit this site and which pages they use, so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this in aggregate — we don't use it to identify individual visitors.
We also use Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which may collect basic technical and performance data (such as page load times) as part of running the site.
If you watch an embedded YouTube video on our Media page, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy.
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Some site features (like the video player) may not work as expected if cookies are disabled.
Other services we link to
Our Media page links to photo galleries hosted on SmugMug and videos hosted on YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies and are not covered by this one. We encourage you to review them if you have questions about how they handle your information.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children through this site.

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
